Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Human Growth Hormone (HGH)?                                                                        Hormone Human Growth Hormone (HGH) is the "master" hormone of the body. Produced by the pituitary in the brain, its release is controlled by the hypothalamus of the brain, and steadily decreases after AGE 20. It decreases even faster these days due to the stress and toxins in our environment.

Q: How does Human Growth Hormone (HGH) work?                                                            Human Growth Hormone (HGH) stimulates virtually all body systems, especially the immune system. It increases the metabolic rate which helps us break down fat. Helps build proteins and create lean muscle.

Q. How is oral GH, Dream-A-Weigh, manufactured?
Our GH product, Dream-A-Way, is produced by prokaryotic (plant-based) microorganisms. The microorganisms are trained to manufacture the exact molecular structure of GH.

Q. When was the first viable GH introduced, and how was it manufactured?
In the early 80’s, Eli Lilly introduced the first viable GH product. It was administered intramuscularly through daily injections. The GH was manufactured in cancer cells and e-coli bacteria using recombinant DNA technology.

Q. How much GH does the oral dietary supplement Dream-A-Weigh contain in comparison to the GH injections and IGF-1 stimulators?
With the injections, the dosage varies, but a standard dose is between 2 and 4 I.U., (international units) per injection. Since most doctors prescribe 1/2 shot, 2 times per day, a given individual takes in between 2 and 4 I.U.’s per day.

The pituitary releases GH in parts per billion and even parts per trillion. Dream-A-Weigh (low dosage oral GH) was designed to mimic the body’s own secretions of GH. The product contains 1/500 to 1/1000 the concentration found in the GH injections.

Q. Please discuss anti-aging products that function as IGF-1 stimulators.
Widely available IGF-1 stimulator products work by providing the body with the raw material needed to manufacture additional IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor-1). Since GH is responsible for the regulation of IGF-1 in the liver, scientists and manufacturers assume anything that increases IGF-1 levels must also be increasing GH levels. This may or may not be the case. Research had yet to confirm this correlation.

Amino acid stacking supplements (IGF-1 stimulators) have been around for the last 40 years. Jack Lalane began using amino acid stackers back in the 40’s and 50’s.

The new IGF-1 stimulators (or amino acid stackers) are a new improved version of the old. Supplying the body with new material to produce IGF-1 is only half the battle. The liver must still manufacture IGF-1 efficiently in order to benefit.

Q. I have heard in the past that DHEA is the master hormone. Is this true?
No! DHEA (di-hydro-epi-andosterone) is produced by the adrenal gland. It is the master hormone for all the sex hormones (e.g., estrogen, testosterone, progesterone). The adrenal gland, like all other glands, is controlled by the pituitary gland. The pituitary gland is responsible for producing GH. Therefore, GH is the master hormone that controls all hormones, including sex hormones.

Q. Are there any side-effects to oral dietary supplement Dream-A-Weigh?
There are no known side-effects at this time. However, when the body increases its vital energy, it may begin to heal its weaknesses. In holistic medicine, when the body begins to heal old health issues, it is called a healing crisis or re-tracing. The body may expel toxins stored in fat tissue and organ systems.

This elimination process can cause uncomfortable temporary conditions such as headaches, skin irritations, mild anxiety, heart palpitations, and/or viral outbreaks, potential signs that the body has begun to heal itself.

It is important to remember that as your body begins to repair itself, it requires more water intake to assist in the elimination of toxins. The average person should drink at least six (6) glasses of fresh, non-chlorinated, non-fluorinated water a day.

Any powerful supplement has the potential to push a dormant health condition to the surface. For example, heavy metals, pesticides, chemicals, drugs, parasite waste, viruses, bacteria, yeast, etc. may lie dormant in the organs and fatty tissue until the body has the energy to eliminate them.

If you experience prolonged symptoms, consult with an anti-aging physician to identify another possible cause for your condition.

If you have an existing health problem (e.g., sexually transmitted disease, cancer, thyroid problem, HIV+, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, pregnancy, etc.), consult with a skilled anti-aging physician before starting Dream-A-Weigh I.

If your doctor does not know about GH, lend him a copy of "Grow Young With HGH," by Dr. Ronald Klatz, MD and/or the audio tape.

Q. What is the standard dosage for the GH injections and the oral dietary supplement Dream-A-Weigh?
The GH injections are administered by the patient subcutaneously (under the skin) in the leg between one and two times per day, five (5) days a week, or for three (3) straight weeks, laying off the product for the fourth (4th) week.

Dream-A-Weigh should be administered as follows: one (1) teaspoon, three (3) times a day, five to six days per week. The maximum daily dosage is six (6)teaspoons per day, six days per week. GH should be used just before retiring in the evening to allow its regenerative properties to work.

Q. What is the cost difference between the GH injections, IGF-1 stimulator supplements, and the oral dietary supplement Dream-A-Weigh ?
Initially, the cost of the injections ranged from $1,200 to $2,500 per month (not including the cost of blood work and doctor visits).

Within the last two years, Eli Lilly relinquished their exclusive patent. Since that time, the price of the GH injections has dropped.

The IGF-1 stimulators (amino acid stacking supplements) currently on the market retail anywhere from $50 to $180 per bottle. They are usually in capsule or tablet form.

The oral dietary supplement Dream-A-Weigh I retails between $89and $150.

Q. Legally speaking, what is the difference between the GH injections and the oral dietary supplement Dream-A-Weigh in terms of drug status?
Since the passage of the Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, Congress passed the Dietary Supplement Health and Education Act (DSHEA - 1994). DSHEA created a new food category for dietary supplements. In order for the FDA to remove a dietary supplement from the market, it must prove that the product causes undue harm to consumers.

DSHEA allows for low dose hormones (e.g., oral GH, DHEA, melatonin, phytoestrogen, wild yam cream, natural testosterone, etc.) to be sold and marketed as dietary supplements. When delivered using a safe method of administration (e.g., a tablet, capsule, cream, sublingual, etc.), hormones fall into the category of foods, not drugs.

Therefore, under the DSHEA of 1994, low dosage, orally administered GH is marketable without a prescription.

Q. I know that the injections need to be refrigerated and they have a limited shelf life. How should I handle my oral dietary supplement?
The oral dietary supplement Dream-A-Weigh has a shelf life of two years and does not require refrigeration. The GH found in Dream-A-Weigh is stabilized by the polymer matrix, eliminating the need for refrigeration. However, the product should be kept out of extreme heat or direct sunlight (e.g., on your dashboard or in your car on a hot summer day) to avoid evaporation of the product.
